Doing so-so work won’t get you noticed. To be outstanding (and get endorsed, if that’s your goal), you need to do really exceptional “WOW” work that will get you seen by your boss and others in management roles.

Take initiative.

Be vocal and volunteer for projects or work assignments where you can use your skills to assist other co-workers and so that both management and co-workers will have an opportunity to see your value of uniqueness.

Play with others well.

It’s time to learn how to play nice and say “please” and “thank you” during needed moments. Be flexible in your approach and style so that you can get along with any persons of all personality type, even if you dislike the person (which is so common). No, this does not mean you have to be “fake,” but learn to detach yourself to get personally emotional and treat the working environment as a time to work together with others to make things run smoothly.
